How do you properly close an interview?

By the end of an interview, the interviewer will be in a position to determine:
· How you compare with other under consideration
· How persuasive you are in convincing him of your qualifications and interest
· What kind of chemistry match there seems to be
· Whether another interview is warranted

At the end of every interview, you must “close to the next step” in the process. Do NOT assume anything at this point. Always ask the following three questions of the interviewer:
1. Is there anything else you would like to know about me and how I would be a fit for your organization?
2. Would you have any concerns regarding me that I can address today?
3. Can I ask for your support in moving forward in the process?

Never leave an interview without determining next steps and overcoming concerns.
