Introducing Dan Whitenack!

A few weeks ago we announced that The Wetrich Group will merge with Consulting Psychology Group (CPG), a highly respected Organizational Psychology firm located in Atlanta, Georgia.

This week, we’d like to introduce you to Dan Whitenack, Ph.D.

Dan went to Emory University (Atlanta) for his undergraduate work and became President of their debate team for his junior and senior years. After receiving his B.S. from Emory University he attended the University of Nebraska for his M. A. and Ph.D. degrees in Industrial Psychology, where he was awarded the Presidential Fellowship as the University’s Outstanding Graduate Student.

Early in his career, Dan worked at BellSouth for five years as a Staff Manager Industrial Psychologist and became licensed in Georgia.  He left in 1992 to work for a small ‘boutique’ psychology firm (Helms, Greco & Whitenack), later becoming a partner in 1997.  After becoming the managing partner of the firm in 2007, Dan changed the name to Consulting Psychology Group.

Dr. Whitenack is a member of American Psychological Association, the Southeastern Psychological Association, and the National Career Development Association.

Dr. Whitenack has conducted assessments on thousands of candidates and coached hundreds more as part of management development activities.  Dan has worked with companies in all industries and various sizes—including the Applebees Restaurants, Atlanta Journal/Constitution, Bally Technologies, Genuine Parts/NAPA, Global Payments, O’Charley’s Restaurants, Orkin/Rollins, Rayonier, Winter Construction, etc.

He is married to Kerri Whitenack and has 3 kids: Kaitlin (20), Courtney (16) and Andrew (16).   He and his wife are modestly-skilled but very avid tennis players in the Gwinnett County area.
